Kiwi, Banana Soy smoothie

For a long time now, i have been dying to get my hands on a smoothie maker! Every time i look on instagram, all i see is smoothies and juices- and they just look incredibly delicious.
After i got my first Breville Smoothie maker in the amazon January sales, i was actually pretty stuck because i kinda live in a small village, in the middle of nowhere, without any mode of transport to get ingredients. Be that as it may, i still wanted to try out my new toy even if the outcome of what i make waas dangerously disgusting. -Strangely enough, it turned out pretty tasty so here's the recipe :) ;

WHAT YOU'LL NEED;

Ingredients;
1 Banana
1 Kiwi
250ml Vitasoy Soy drink
substitutes; normal soy milk, almond milk, rice milk, semi-skimmed cows milk, ect....
1tbsp medium desiccated coconut
1/2 cup of ice

Tools;
Knife,
smoothie maker

Optional;
Sugar or Honey for an even sweeter taste
measuring spoons/cups

WHAT TO DO:
Chop the top and tail end of the kiwi, turn it vertically and proceed to carve of the furry outer-layer in a downwards motion. Alternatively, you could just cut the kiwi fruit in half and scoop out the green inners with a spoon.

Take the peel of the banana (for the best/less starchy/easily digestible results, choose a browner banana over the green ones :) )

Cut both fruits into small chunks and place into a blender.

Pour in the soy drink of your choice as well as the ice.

Top with a spoonful [or more] of coconut and mix for round about 30 seconds or until you prefer.

If you prefer, spice it up with some cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger.
You could also have this with your morning cereal or leave it in the fridge, over night, with some oats.
For a more protein packed smoothie, try adding some nuts,seeds, or protein powder to the mix.
Add another banana for extra thickness, protein, fibre, potassium, and magnesium

The possibilities are endless so please have fun and
ENJOY~
